Traveling and walking around aimlessly in the narrow cobblestoned streets of the famous Blue City, Jodhpur, around sunset, I came across this group of men, senior citizens, squatting, sitting on a pavement bench, chilling and chatting about this, that and nothing in particular. I loved watching as the man on the right was sharing a poor joke, and invoking a reaction from the men next to him. That reaction being a definite bored yawn!! Hiding my smile, I enjoyed the moment discreetly and then moved on to continue my twilight evening stroll among the rows of blue and colorful houses.

Hi, my name is Sue Jacobi. I have always been passionate about art. For the first time in my life, I am now able to dedicate quality time to this passion of mine, and since recently, I am happy to be a full-time artist. My favorite medium is soft pastels, and I love to paint bright, cheerful images that brighten up any room and bring a smile to people's faces. Fun, whimsical and funky are words that I would use to describe my art style. Wildlife - animals and birds - are among my favorite subjects. I also love painting flowers. Up close and personal, is often how I approach my subjects.
