About Sue Jacobi
Hi, my name is Sue Jacobi. I have always been passionate about art. For the first time in my life, I am now able to dedicate quality time to this passion of mine, and since recently, I am happy to be a full-time artist. My favorite medium is soft pastels, and I love to paint bright, cheerful images that brighten up any room and bring a smile to people's faces. Fun, whimsical and funky are words that I would use to describe my art style. Wildlife - animals and birds - are among my favorite subjects. I also love painting flowers. Up close and personal, is often how I approach my subjects. Currently I am adding one new painting - fresh from my easel - each day, to my gallery... so visitors always have something new to discover :)
I have attended art classes and workshops held by a number of artists in Switzerland and India, and am very grateful for their inputs. However I would have to describe myself as a self-taught artist. My style is very much my own...
I am also passionate about photography, and love to capture a variety of subjects, including people, cultures, moods, wildlife and flowers. I plan to soon add some of my photographs to my FAA portfolio.
Hope you enjoy my art, as much as I enjoy creating it :)
