While driving by in the vast countryside in Rajasthan, India, we came across this charming tea stall or cafe. Hot tea and snacks are available for weary travelers. Also cool potted water, a scarce commodity in this arid desert region of the country. Customers and passers-by can relax here for a while, sitting on the rope-cot laid out in the open air outside, sipping a hot cup of tchai tea and enjoying a crisp fried snack to go with it. Tea drinking is a favourite pastime of people in North India. These little roadside restaurants are known as dhabas.

Hi, my name is Sue Jacobi. I have always been passionate about art. For the first time in my life, I am now able to dedicate quality time to this passion of mine, and since recently, I am happy to be a full-time artist. My favorite medium is soft pastels, and I love to paint bright, cheerful images that brighten up any room and bring a smile to people's faces.
