This digital artwork is based on a photograph of Karan, who works as a security guard at the sprawling Mehrangarh Fort (translates as Sun Fort) in the Blue City of Jodhpur in Rajasthan, India. Karan sports one of several types of traditional turbans as headgear. The rest of his attire is also typical cultural clothing � a long-sleeved collarless kurta rather than of a shirt, a loose, flowing, comfortable dhoti instead of trousers, and a waistcoat to round up the traditional costume.
Mehrangarh is a magnificent fort dedicated to the Sun God! I was amazed at the rich architecture and the mind-boggling variety of architectural details to be seen in this sprawling fort, which contains several palaces.
